THE WOMEN INNOVATORS (WIN) PROGRAM

Flowtric had the opportunity to participate in the Women Innovators (WIN) Program — a national initiative designed and implemented by FAST, and funded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation — aimed at empowering women in STEM across Armenia.

The 10-week program, held from May to July 2024, brought together women from various sectors to exchange knowledge, build connections, and strengthen their skills. As a woman-led startup, Flowtric is grateful to have participated in a program that equipped us — and all participants — with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to grow both personally and professionally.

Armenia stands out for its strong presence of women in STEM. A significant number of women pursue higher education in science and technology, and many are actively contributing to the biotech and tech industries. Over the years, the number of women researchers and doctoral students has steadily increased, reflecting the country’s growing commitment to gender diversity and innovation in these fields.

We're grateful for the experience and the connections we've made through this program.
